ESBC – Consultation on Statement of Licensing Policy including a Review of the Cumulative Impact Policy
East Staffordshire Borough Council, being the Licensing Authority under the Act, is currently undertaking a Review of its Statement of Licensing Policy including the Cumulative Impact Policy. The Consultation will take place from 7th October 2024 to 3rd November 2024.
On reviewing its Statement of Licensing Policy and the Cumulative Impact Policy the Council has taken into consideration the Guidance issued under Section 182 of the Licensing Act 2003.
The proposed Draft Policy and supporting documentation can be accessed by visiting the East Staffordshire Borough Council Website and viewing current Consultations section (http://www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk/council-democracy/consultations).
After reading the draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2025 – 2030, please forward any comments and responses to our email address, licensing@eaststaffsbc.gov.uk. All responses will be considered prior to the adoption of the revised Policy.
Once the Consultation process is complete a report will be prepared for the Licensing Committee along with the revised Policy for adoption by Full Council. The revised Policy will then be available for viewing on the Council’s website.
